A place for your little check-in

Location, when you choose.

Turn on Settings → Entry location on your watch and grant its location permission. When you save Poo or Pee, Diaroo briefly asks the watch for a location fix and attaches it when available.

Logging still works without permission or a GPS fix. Location is optional, used while the app is open, and never tracked continuously. The watch’s permission is separate from your phone’s.

01 / Poo

Type. Mood.
Save.

Choose a type and mood, then save. You return straight home with no Done screen. After installation, local Poo logging and history work offline without a diary account. Optional sync runs when a connected phone is available.

02 / View

Roll back
through your day.

Open View for a daily calendar. Days show individual Poo and Pee icons when they fit, or an icon with a count. Tap a day for its entries, then tap an entry for details. The watch shows local entries plus recent synced phone history.

Your saved places

A map with room to explore.

Browse playful journal pins on the native map. On Apple Watch, pan directly and turn the Digital Crown to zoom. Tap a pin to revisit its entries.

With permission and a fresh location fix, the map opens near you. Otherwise, it uses your located entries or shows an empty state. Map tiles need internet.

Included in Premium

💧 A bladder check-in on your wrist.

Diaroo has a separate full-screen Pee button, visible with Premium access confirmed through the paired phone app. It records urination, leaks and pad changes as separate events. Food and drink logging is paused in version 1.5.0; existing records are kept. Confirm the event, then save straight back to the home page. Unanswered details stay blank; use the phone to add measurements or more context. Existing entries remain readable after Premium ends.

Use the current Diaroo app on both paired devices. Watch Premium is confirmed through the paired iPhone or Android phone.

Your phone. Your watch. Your choice.

Make the connection.

After installation, free Poo logging and local history work offline without a diary account. To connect the diary on your paired iPhone or Android phone, or confirm Premium access, follow these steps:

1

Pair your devices

Apple Watch: use Apple’s Watch app on your iPhone. Wear OS: use the setup app for your watch, such as Google Pixel Watch or Galaxy Wearable, on Android.

3

Let Diaroo connect

Open Diaroo on your phone. When it detects the installed watch app, it attempts to connect and sync automatically. Check Settings → Diaroo on your wrist on the phone, or Settings on the watch. Manual connection or retry controls appear if help is needed.

Wear OS + Android

The standalone app requires Wear OS 3 or later and Google Play services. Optional phone sync requires a paired Android phone. The watch manufacturer may require a newer Android version. Wear OS with iPhone is not supported.

You’re in control

Connected when you choose.

Swipe to the Settings home page on your watch for connection and sync controls, held-log recovery, pairing help, and app information. Check the paired device’s make and model, connection, and last sync in Diaroo on either device after both apps are updated. Disconnect from either side to stop sharing. Your phone journal stays in place.

Can I use more than one watch?

Connected Wear OS watches share the same phone journal, with a separate connection and sync status for each watch. Each paired watch with the updated watch app attempts to connect automatically, unless you previously disconnected it. iPhone syncs with one active Apple Watch at a time; switch watches in Apple’s Watch app. Disconnecting in Diaroo on a watch stops only that watch. Disconnecting in Diaroo on the phone stops all watches. Offline watches receive that change when they reconnect.

What happens when I disconnect?

Disconnecting on the watch clears its visible phone history immediately. Disconnecting on the phone stops new imports there; the watch clears its history when it receives that change. An offline watch cannot receive the change immediately. Your Disconnect choice stays in place across restarts and automatic discovery. Choose Connect on the device where you disconnected to resume. Local-only logs remain available. Unsent linked logs stay held and require confirmation before moving into a reconnected journal.

How do I fully unpair my watch?

Diaroo’s Disconnect control affects Diaroo only. To remove the device pairing, use Apple’s Watch app or your Wear OS manufacturer’s setup or system settings. Full unpairing can erase the watch. Sync any logs you want to keep first. Apple’s unpairing instructions.

What is shared with the watch?

Optional sync shares entry type, mood, time, origin, IDs, saved location coordinates, recent history, and the language, theme and connection information needed to sync. Structured bladder details and Premium access also sync. Free-text notes, bowel symptoms, passwords and account sign-in tokens are not sent to the watch. With permission, a brief foreground fix can locate a new entry or center your map. No continuous tracking or health-sensor reading is used. Read the watch privacy details.

Do I need Premium or an account?

Bowel watch logging, recent history, and phone–watch sync remain free. The bladder diary is included in existing Premium and lifetime access. Reading previously saved bladder logs remains available after Premium ends. No Diaroo account is required for phone–watch sync. After installation, free Poo logging and local history work offline. A compatible paired iPhone or Android phone with Diaroo is used for optional phone sync and confirming Premium access. Wear OS can use the free local Poo diary without the phone app. Signing in on the phone enables its existing cloud journal sync.

For personal wellness journaling. Diaroo does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
